Hart Law PLLC

A boutique law firm for the

savvy businessperson

Briana Hart, junior partner of the firm, concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial and residential real estate, trusts & estates, asset protection, corporate and business law.  With more than eight years of experience advising both corporate and individual clients, Ms. Hart delivers strategic, detail-oriented guidance designed to advance her clients’ personal, business, and transactional objectives.

In her real estate practice, Ms. Hart represents buyers, sellers, investors, and business entities in all aspects of commercial and residential transactions.  Her work includes negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements, advising on corporate formation related to real estate ownership, reviewing and negotiating loan documents, resolving title issues, and overseeing transactions through closing.  She approaches every matter with a practical mindset and a strong command of transactional risk, ensuring her clients’ interests are fully protected.

Ms. Hart also maintains a comprehensive trusts and estates practice, working closely with clients to develop tailored estate plans and asset protection strategies aligned with their unique goals and family circumstances.  She also represents fiduciaries and beneficiaries in probate and estate administration matters before the Surrogate’s Court, guiding clients through complex processes with clarity and care.

In her corporate and business law practice, Ms. Hart serves as outside general counsel to corporate clients, supporting day-to-day business operations and strategic growth.  She regularly reviews, drafts, and negotiates commercial agreements with vendors, service providers, and business collaborators, combining practical insight into operations with careful legal analysis to protect her clients’ interests while enabling confident decision-making.

During law school, Ms. Hart served as Editor-in-Chief of the New York Real Property Law Journal, the New York State Bar Association’s leading practitioner publication on real property law.  While a student staff member on the journal, her article "Aurora Loan Services, LLC v. Taylor: New York Court of Appeals Opens the Door for a Less Stringent Standing Requirement in Residential Foreclosures" was selected and published by the Bar Association editors.  She also completed 683 hours of pro bono service, including work with the New York Legal Assistance Group (NYLAG), assisting low-income New Yorkers with critical civil legal matters.  These experiences reflect her commitment not only to legal excellence but also to serving clients and the broader community with integrity and dedication.

With her combination of practical experience, careful attention to detail, and client-centered approach, Ms. Hart provides trusted guidance and effective solutions in real estate, estate planning, and corporate law matters, helping clients achieve their goals with confidence and peace of mind.
